Dutch Viking

When things get complicated, we help you get moving again

Most organisations don't slow down because of one big problem. They slow down gradually, decisions take longer, responsibilities get fuzzy, and good people end up spending their energy in the wrong places.
It's rarely one thing. It's communication, structure and the way work flows all quietly drifting out of sync.
That's where we come in.

Dutch directness meets Norwegian grit.

The name isn't random. Dutch Viking sits at the crossroads of two cultures, each with its own strengths. The Dutch bring a no-nonsense, get-it-done mentality: direct, pragmatic, always looking for a smarter way. Norwegians bring a different quality: resilience, loyalty and a long-term view. You build things to last.
Working across cultures isn't something we've had to learn, it's built into who we are. We understand how Norwegian businesses think and operate. We also bring an outside perspective that tends to see things locals have stopped noticing.
We're based in Norway and work on-site and online, across Norway and internationally, wherever you need us.

We work where organisations lose clarity.

That might be in how decisions get made. In how teams are structured. In how work actually moves from one person to the next. Usually it's a combination, which is why we look at the whole picture rather than fixing things in isolation.
Our work covers four areas:
Business Optimisation — less friction, clearer roles, better flow.
Change Management — keeping momentum when things are shifting.
Project Support — extra capacity and structure when you need it.
AI & Digital Transformation — making new technology actually useful, not just present.
We work across a range of sectors: infrastructure, tech, construction, hospitality, production, supply chain and legal.

We don't arrive with a programme. We arrive with questions.

Once we understand what's actually going on, we work out the right approach together. Sometimes that's a short, focused engagement to crack a specific problem. Sometimes it's a thorough review, an honest look at what's working and what isn't, from someone outside the politics. And sometimes it becomes an ongoing relationship, at whatever level makes most sense.
After we leave, the connection stays. We check in to make sure things hold, because the real test of any change is whether it sticks six months later.
We're a focused team of two and work efficiently across multiple projects without adding unnecessary overhead. You get senior attention throughout, not a junior team handed the work after the first meeting.

Less noise. Clearer decisions. Teams that know who does what.

That's what most of our clients feel first. The meetings get shorter. The right people make the right calls. Energy stops disappearing into confusion and starts going into actual work.
It's not about big transformations or grand strategies. It's about removing the friction that's quietly costing you more than you realise.

We see things that are hard to see from the inside.

When you're inside an organisation, it's genuinely hard to spot what's slowing it down. Not because you're not paying attention, but because complexity hides itself over time.
We come in from the outside. We listen. We ask the questions that don't usually get asked. And because we're not caught up in the dynamics of your organisation, we tend to see things quickly.
Between the two of us, we cover a lot of ground:
business development and process optimisation
legal frameworks and organisational governance
HR and organisational design
leadership coaching and communication strategy
AI and digital transformation
That means we can move through different layers of an organization, from the boardroom to day-to-day operations, and understand how they connect.
We're straightforward to work with. We focus on what actually matters. And we don't hang around longer than we need to.

Different backgrounds. Same idea.

Dutch Viking was founded by Sofija and Luite. Organisations work better when people understand each other, responsibilities are clear and things aren't more complicated than they need to be. That's the belief we share.

Sofija

Sofija works on structure and governance. She has a background in legal frameworks, HR and business development, and she's good at cutting through complexity to build systems that actually hold up, and support the people inside them. On the digital side, she helps organisations think through what AI and new technology mean for their structure, governance and processes.

Luite

Luite focuses on the human side. He works with leaders and teams on communication, dynamics and performance, helping people find focus and direction when the noise starts getting in the way. He also works with organisations on AI adoption: not the technical side, but how you bring people along, build confidence and make change actually stick.
Together: structural thinking meets human understanding. Analytical, but not cold. Strategic, but practical.

Got a challenge in mind? Or just a feeling something's off?

Either way, we're happy to talk. There's no agenda, no time limit and no pitch waiting at the end. Just an open conversation about where you are and whether we can help. It takes as long as it takes.
